Common Projects

The informal network, to achieve its objectives, can conceive, design, organize, and manage joint projects.

Passing the batons

"Passing the Batons” is more than an educational project—it is a far-reaching initiative to build an international community of young peer mediators committed to sharing experiences, resources, and best practices.
"Passing the Baton" is a project designed to address one of the key challenges of modern societies: conflict management and the promotion of constructive dialogue among young people.

The project seeks to enhance peer mediation as an important tool to improve the quality of relationships in educational and social contexts, thus promoting a European culture based on listening, mutual respect, and the ability to resolve conflicts peacefully.

Digital database

A digital database containing useful information on peer mediation, accessible to all schools and organizations interested: a multilingual digital platform that serves as a reference point for peer mediation in Europe, providing access to resources (webographies, filmographies, and bibliographies), practical tools, training materials, and best practices.

Common Path towards the European Manifesto for Peer Mediation

The organization of national events where young peer mediators meet, discuss, and work on a draft document for the creation of a European Peer Mediation Manifesto. The document will also include a direct appeal to European institutions to recognize the importance of peer mediation and support initiatives that promote dialogue, primarily among young people, in schools and extracurricular youth settings.
This process may include supranational online events that bring together young peer mediators from different countries to share experiences, approaches, and tools for peer mediation, participate in the development of the European Peer Mediation Manifesto, and promote listening and dialogue in as many schools and extracurricular youth contexts as possible.

Promotion of the European Manifesto for Peer Mediation at European Institutions and Organizations

The European Peer Mediation Manifesto could serve as an opportunity for nationwide signature campaigns culminating in the presentation of the manifesto, along with a collection of endorsements from young mediators and organizations participating in the informal network across Europe. This will include a request to the European Parliament and the Council of Europe to initiate a procedure for an agenda item on peer mediation.
